She was no doubt capable of handling herself, but the image remained difficult nonetheless. "Were you fighting too?" This was the side of her that he had not yet seen, and he showed great interest in hearing her version of the story. As Thorin had told everyone to get some sleep, Kili inwardly sighed, though he did move to lie down in order to follow orders. "Thorin never mentioned you being there -- how did you find it? The battle, I mean. Did you come to help?" As best he could, he kept his voice down, but he did not believe it possible to sleep until he heard the story in its entirety.
