[@Legion02] Even so, Swords magic does allow the user to manipulate blades in the way you've described. And Spirit Lord sounds pretty solid to me so go ahead with it. [@Masaki Haruna] Alright, I guess she's good to go. [@Kal-El] Okay, first pull back heavily on the descriptions. There's a lot of fluff in there that is irrelevant to what we need to know about the magic and makes it hard to fish out the pertinent info. We don't need the "science" of how they work. It's magic. Just tell us what it does. How it looks when being used is something you can describe in-game. Second, out of what we could tell, Destruction is an unavoidable, unlimited ranged incredibly powerful magic that can't be countered unless you know how to counter it. That's not acceptable. Just saying it's easy to deflect (if you know how to) is not balancing anything. You're gonna have to nerf that hard. Fortification is fine for the most part but making the user nearly invulnerable is a definite no go. No using the fortification on himself. The overall problem I'm seeing here is this: you're trying to make your character both an immovable object and an unstoppable force in one. Neither is okay and both is not even worth considering. You also described him as some tactical battle prodigy/genius. Throw that on top of everything else and he's clearly OP. And honestly, he seems be a copy of Guildarts really. The ultra powerful S-Class mentor/big brother/dad-like mage. I don't want to say a complete overhaul is necessary but you have to balance this guy out better.
Meh. Not even gonna argue it. Just go Gravity Magic or Sword(spear) magic. He and Gildarts really aren't unlike besides how they care for guildmates.
