A smile often hangs on her lips, and she usually dresses down rather than up, completing the casual chic look. Her hair sometimes hangs down just past her shoulders, but she mostly ties it up in a bun when she’s working to keep it out of her way.[/indent]

[indent]The child of a pair of notable Hoenn scientists specializing in evolution, Aedre’s no stranger to Pokemon. Born and raised in Mossdeep City, Aedre spent her childhood with her Togepi and Fletchling, the latter who she received as an egg on her eighth birthday and the former a gift from her aunt who breeds fire Pokemon, and through her time with them, she quickly learned to love Pokemon of all types. From spending afternoons in her parents’ lab at the Mossdeep Space Center to befriending the local Psychic gym leader twins, Liza and Tate, Aedre has developed a deep love for all Pokemon and the wonders that accompany life with them. It came as no surprise when Aedre expressed her desire to follow in her parent’s footsteps, pursuing further education in Mauville City and dividing her time between her education and the Battle Institute Hoenn. There, she developed both an eye and intuition for working with Pokemon, discovering her desire to unravel the mysteries around Pokemon and help people better understand them, if not learn to love them.

Traveling to the Kosei Region was never really part of Aedre’s plan. Her invitation to the region came in the form of an invitation from the Kraterdesh Gym Leader, Eria, who recently uncovered a Honedge within the ruins. As much misunderstanding and mystery surrounds the Pokemon—so much so that its Pokedex entry reads: “Apparently this Pokémon is born when a departed spirit inhabits a sword. It attaches itself to people and drinks their life force”—Aedre took up the call and traveled to the ruins to take ownership of the Pokemon in hopes of unraveling the mysteries around it.[/indent]

[indent]Aedre usually comes off as the friendly type, always smiling when around others. As one who prefers intellectual wonders over the physical ones—the intangible over tangible—Aedre often seems aloof in company. Although she tries her hardest to be friendly and outgoing, she often finds herself uncomfortable and awkward around others. A true introvert, Aedre sometimes lapses into silence and prefers to think more than speak her thoughts. [/indent]
