My next one is going to give a bit of combat but mostly internal struggle for control. It's not going to be easy, but I think I can manage it. :) 

I honestly appreciate that you like my style of writing cause I may be being modest but I don't usually like how I write. 

I think it honestly depends on how I feel about the character. If I like him enough, I'll put more effort into them. I've only done this for a few characters I like.
