"Oh, no, those kinds of things would not be talked about in the open. Not at all," Fendros agreed with a forced smile at Ahnasha's levity. The smile did not last long as he continued. "But, I think you're mistaking father as someone who is more flexible. [i]He[/i] is the Dunmer that would show contempt to someone in his position. At the same time, he is the last person to admit that he is wrong. The length of time he has spent with that attitude tells me that he is validated in other ways." Fendros adjusted his hands up under and behind Ahnasha's shoulders and looked her in the eyes. "Look, you might be right about him changing, but I do not see it happening in any short amount of time. And it hurts. However, I am not sure how useful it is to dwell on right now." Fendros spread a broad smile. "I just got married to the best woman in all of Tamriel and I want to dwell on that some more." Fendros brought his head forward to place a kiss on Ahnasha's lips. It turned into another, and then a longer kiss.
