Kassy offered up a shy smile to the girl who'd sat close to her. She didn't look quite well - really tired, possibly ill. After rumaging around in her bag, she offered another roll of dried kelp. "...um... do you need something to eat?" 

The other person who'd sat down was much more intimidating. But she offered him a roll too, just in case. It would be rather hypocritical of her if she ignored someone who looked scary. "You too?"

Kijani flashed Connor a little smile, but before she could talk to him, Bruce Wayne was on stage. Even though he wasn't Batman anymore, Kijani had a healthy amount of fear for their school headmaster. His annoucement caused her mouth to fall wide open, and she was silent for a moment before raising her hand. She didn't wait to be called on; fear be damned.

"Wait, wait, are you telling me we're going to be heroes? That we have to be? Shall implies that we're going to do this whether we want to or not!"
