Avey is far away from home. When he was but 8 years of age a storm ravaged his homestead and he awoke in a strange new land. Beside him, equally lost, was a living metallic 2D rooster. The two became inseparable friends as they traveled around scavenging for food and shelter. Until recently Avarius and his companion Rinn had taken refuge at a monastery where they lived and learned with the generous monks. But Avey always dreams of home and searches for the storm that will take him back there.

Avey travels with a strange small companion. Rinn. A 2D metallic rooster and floating flat arrow that seems to be an extension of the creature. Avey has never questioned his friends existence and Rinn has never had to try explain.

[b]History:[/b] Rinn is the weather vane from atop Avey's old house. It was torn off by the same storm that took Avey away. When the young boy first awoke far away from home, surprisingly so too did Rinn.

Rinn is just as much the weather vane arrow as he is the rooster. He has come to identify as the rooster but controls and uses the floating arrow. Rinn'shu, being 2D, cannot fly.

[hider=Things deliberately forgotten] Avey's home was attacked by a dark guild. He was the target, his parents both descendants of some great guild put up a fierce fight. Avey listened in on the commotion with horror as he hid on the roof, clinging to the weathervane. His fear caused him to tap into his powers and he summoned a great storm to bend to his will. The things that happened that night were deliberately forgotten. Afraid and alone he pushed that knowledge along with a great portion of his magic, into the weathervane from his house and so Rinn was born.[/hider]
