Regarding a spirit-like race to represent the east, perhaps an [url=http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/other-races/more-races/race-points-unknown/astomoi]astomoi[/url] could be fitting? They are humanoid-shaped beings whose mind, body, and soul exist as one form, which is a self-aware extension of space-time. They don't have sexes or genders, and are otherwise featureless in their physique. They sense the world around them and communicate with others using telepathy, and they have a few other interesting quirks.
