Jess was surprised when Nathan insisted that she would have noticed that it was him. But what bothered her about his initial statement was that he also insisted that his habit was perverted. It certainly was quirky and different and there were certainly going to be those who didn't understand, but it wasn't perverted, not in her eyes at least. The disappointment that came when Nathan told her that there were no pictures. She could understand, especially given his concerns but she still would have enjoyed seeing pictures of her best friend dressed up. When Nathan got up to enter the closet and get changed, Jess shifted around so she could paint her toenails as well. Her fingernails were dry enough to stay right as long as she was careful not to touch them to anything yet. 

She managed to get her left foot done to a satisfactory level and was just starting her right when Nathan came back out. She was awestruck. Nathan was still recognisable behind the dress and wig and chest, but only barely. With makeup, Jessica wasn't sure she would recognise him if she ran into him on the street.
