I am assuming by the above statement that the commander made that we are all meant to go out and try and forage for ourselves and to find shelter


Add to that the first sentence  [b]"A year ago all 154 of us were thrust into a position to try and save the human race. I'm not sure if we can actually do that. There isn't enough food to feed everyone for more than a few days. That being said we are opening the bunker doors."[/b]




Taking this as meaning that we face starvation I also assumed that we would have been on half rations at least two weeks before the commander would have resorted to such drastic actions


I could be wrong but I see Kwan as a survivor and she will make it no matter what stands in her way
