Indiana - Home
"Oua-Uu!" Indi looked up from his cereal and at his new pet, Princess. She was looking up from her bowl of kibble and small apple chunks with an excited smile. Whether it was from the food or the anticipation of setting out on their journey for a buyer, Indi couldn't really tell. He, obviously, was eager to get out of the house and away from his father and schooling. He shook off those thoughts, though, and resumed eating his breakfast with his Zorua. After cleaning her up a bit (she needed to look presentable, after all) and cleaning himself up a bit, he headed out. Today, he was going to register for the league, grab a pokedex, and start collecting badges and assembling the perfect team. He did some research and had already found one he wanted, once he got his hands on the pokedex, he'd be able to find it too. After a fairly inconsequential walk through the city, and pulling Princess away from numerous other pokemon and people crowding the streets of Beryllium, Indi had finally reached the lab, where, once they entered, both Princess and Indi were fairly astounded by the amount of people there. Many trainer or contest going folk were there, obvious by their also fairly young pokemon. It was hard to tell what was going on, but near the front of the crowd, he heard the tail-end of a speech mentioning the pokedex. Picking up Princess (though not in a princess carry, sadly) Indi rudely muscled his way to the front of the crowd to grab up one of the technical marvels. Along the way, Princess seemed to make a bit of a fuss at some sort of round dragon pokemon, turning into it and mocking it with faces before turning back into her original form with a snicker. Finally reaching the front, Indi realized he had made a mistake. There were actually pokemon already there, assumably to be given out to those who had none. He could have started his journey with two if he had been quicker and smarter. Of course, he was sure his pokemon was much stronger than those two, so it wasn't a huge loss. After shoving past a man who didn't know how to turn his headphones down, Indi stood in front of the professer, Princess scampering up to his shoulder to free his hands at his gesture. "Hey, mind if I get one of those?" He asked with a grin. Princess grinned too, eager to get onto their adventure.
