[@RumikoOhara]I live in North Texas. Knew kids who liked to catch water moccasins for fun. Also knew a few ponds and streams that were pretty much filled with the creatures. Was kinda terrifying seeing so many of them writhing around in the water. Still, it seemed a little too early for people to step on them. No I'm actually not referring to your character btw. 

So we're going with the whole, we're all starving deal? Dammit. I'd have rather gone with the, we got let out early when supplies were beginning to run low since we'd have to do it eventually and it's better to do it while we still had regular full meals than half rations deal.

[@Kyrisse] I'm glad you like reading my posts. As for cockroaches... I wouldn't normally recommend bugs raw. Especially when you don't know what they've been in. Locusts though, those would be pretty good eating. I know how to prepare that too. Think I heard they had a nutty flavor when roasted? Something like that.
