[@zarkun] not at all! Especially since gyms are such a big part of the core game series. I've seen a couple RP's go with Pokemon showdown, but I dunno if we're gonna go that route. Perhaps just let writers themselves write the battles like npc battles? With the requirement of realism and whatnot... But that's a given. 

[@silver fox] oh my the list just grows longer and longer xD but yes! Pokemon eggs will be a part of this--perhaps you could judt multiply your pokemon by buying 1-5 Pokeballs in advance? I don't see anything wrong with having your Pokemon breed as long as you have the Pokeballs to back the litter up... Unless you wanna turn them free.

As for contests player judgement will probably be best, but I dunno. Is thhere a better system? I've also seen RP's where members are elected as "co-GMs" specifically for judging contests... Perhaps that could be implemented?
