[indent][color=lightgray]She use to be a humanitarian aid worker for primarily, Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere (CARE), but now she is the Guidance Counselor at Lincoln Memorial High. As a school social worker, she is a liaison between school and students' families, essentially bridging children's personal lives and education to make sure their needs are being met. Along with giving teens guidance, she works with special needs children to facilitate their integration into mainstream classes. She addresses a number of school issues, such as behavioral intervention programs, sexual education, and effective communication between parents, teachers, and students.[/color][/indent]

[indent][color=lightgray]With alluring, chartreuse green eyes, and dark brown hair, Eliana stands at 5'3 inches and was raised to be a prim, proper and a role model to the world. A lady through and through, she comes off as confident, yet restless. With a slim built, she weighs around 120 lbs and carries herself with the out most dignity. Both her parents come from British decent and are well-known in a few countries, especially England and America. She has soft, gentle features, especially her skin that she lotions after a refreshing morning shower. Her steps are soundless, her posture is straight, and her aura emits grace. She was gifted with a silvery, melodious voice and her thin, long fingers showcases her musical capabilities. To this day, she continues to play her cello. Even with her tone being higher in octave, her voice is pleasant to the ears like a calm, summer breeze while you lay on a beach and gaze at the deep azure sea under the starry night. 

When Eliana is not trying to be presentable and an inspiration to people, especially young ones in her community, she is exuberant, full of life, and adorably playful. Her stress can be seen when she furrows her brows, which more often than not she does because being a single mother with an opinionated, forward, does-what-he-wants boy is not easy. She looks forward to having a glass of wine when she arrives home after a long day of work, business, and cleaning up her son's messes. There tends to be an underlining tiredness in her stare. Dark circles that make up doesn't always cover up. That being said, her son says if she dressed more "risque" she would be considered a milf because she doesn't look like she should be forty. 

With such high expectations for herself, most of her companions and her ex, who left a long time ago, were (and well are) amazed she hasn't cracked. Her tendency to focus on what needs to be done rather than enjoy herself, in the moment, can frustrate her loved ones but they know her heart is in the right place. When she is working or under incredible amount of stress because of her reckless son, her appearance becomes rather disheveled in a matter of seconds - since she can't help but mess with her hair in frustration. 

Her make up is usually rather light, or none at all, and her style is on the conservative side. It is not that she disagrees with showing skin, she prefers clothing that are defined as 'sophisticated' and 'refined'. Perhaps, it was because of her upbringing. She never did question her interest in sweaters, blouses, knee-length skirts, or comfortable jeans. She does have attire (like cute hats and party dresses) that shows her more 'fun' side, but she only wears that type of style when she's going out to enjoy herself and not worrying about... nearly everything. [color=lightgray]Passion. That is the best word that can describe Eliana. Whether it is in her intentional pursuit to inspire people to do better for themselves or in her everyday actions like saying 'how are you' to a student, she is an incomprehensibly passionate woman. Her allure is in everything that she is. Most of her childhood, up until her second year of college, she was considered an introvert, who avoided people and focused on herself. Nowadays, when you first meet her, you instantly get hit by a personable woman that is full of vibrant positiveness. When you start peeling her layers like an onion, you see that she has firm beliefs and opinions, full of thoughts that she doesn't necessarily understand, can be a natural flirt whether she is aware of it or not, and her heart aches for many things, like she carries the world on her shoulders. Her underlining sadness can be caught when she thinks she is alone, her smile drops to a blank expression, her green orbs become detached from her surroundings, and she gets lost in her own personal battle: the battle of moving on from her ex husband. 

Eliana is a lot stronger than she thinks, a lot smarter than she realizes, and far more radiant than she has ever let herself believe. Her tendency to quote poets like Emily Dickinson or W.B. Yeats, or from excerpts of books or Broadways/musicals/movie shows how invested she is in her interests. While she grows as a creative mind but most importantly, a person, Eliana knows she'll keep preserving. She has to for her and her son. 

Without a doubt she is a hard worker and only wants to excel at everything she puts her mind into. With such ambitions, her mind tends to be preoccupied with many, many things, ultimately causing her to have nights where she gets hardly any rest. Aside from the polished exterior, Ellie can be quite friendly and a loving person to have in your life. When you first look at her, one sees an intellectual. Her intelligence, knowledge of the world, and life experiences makes her a highly respected woman. When you get to know her, there is a child-like dreamer and someone who battles internally with herself, constantly. Though, her battles haven't been as bad as they were many years ago. As loving and kind as she can be, don't test her patience. Her anger is wrathful and like any other protective mother, she will shield her cub from his foes and aid him until her dying breath.[/color][/indent]

The success rate of all those who followed after her ex husband were 0 to none. Not because she isn't trying to move on, believe her, she is, there's just always something about them that annoys her. And if they can't pass the: this is my son, can you handle him? test, Then what's the point? She needs a dedicated man, whose willing to comfort her when she can't sleep, who doesn't mind after a tiresome day at work, to just hold her in bed. They don't even need to talk. Silence can be good. Having a companion who understands her and who indulges her mind, but also, someone who helps her experience new things. Although she is forty, she wouldn't mind an adventure. There is no need for a second marriage, just someone to help her feel... less lonely.[/color][/indent]

[indent][color=lightgray]The Lovelace fortune and success started with Truman and Shelly Lovelace, Eliana's grandparents. Truman Lovelace inherited his father's decent investments in oil and sold those assets to start a hospitality empire known today as Millennium Worldwide, while Shelly Lovelace was a former English college professor at the University of Edinburge. Currently deceased, they had one son and three daughters, all who gained recognition around the world. May it be through marriage or their own achievements. The eldest and Eliana's father, Lucas Benedict Lovelace, was the previous President of Millennium Worldwide Holdings, Inc and now enjoys the retired life with his wife, Cecilia, in their home country. The company would have originally gone to Eliana but her purpose was elsewhere and after standing her ground and voicing her opinions, she was allowed to explore her horizons. The company is now under the reigns of her younger sister, Jenivieve Lovelace. 

How did a woman born in Bristol, England, end up in a rural Washington, a small town called Verona? 

Successful parents. Mother was a small town girl, father always knew the wealthy side of things, being the heir to his family's hotel corporation, Millennium. Ideally, he wanted his first daughter to take over the company - but Eliana's wanderlust urged her to follow her soul seeking dreams. Cecilia Barnett and Lucas Lovelace went to the same college and both excelled at their work. The timid, yet assertive, man took notice of the confident freshman (he being her senior) and even took it upon himself to woo her. Loving a woman with trust issues beyond him was not an easy thing to do, but during his last year, he was able to ease her tension and help her enjoy herself for once. When he graduated, it didn't take him long before his reputation took flight. Once Cecilia graduated, she sought him out and offered for them to partner up (eventually falling in love with each other). 

For the most part, Eliana was a happy baby up until it became night. Once darkness came to play, the child would cry her eyes out, letting her nightmares get the best of her. In grade school, Ellie was bullied tremendously for being 'no fun' and a 'nerd'. That's all in the past now. Lucas spent the next years watching over his daughter and seeing what helped her cope with her issues: His piano playing, her cello, and books. While all this was happening, her little sister, Jenna rebelled to get noticed and grew disdain for her sister for being the family favorite. 

Fast forward to high school, where Eliana started coming to terms with how intrigued she was with people and how before she died, she wanted to make a difference, she found herself conflicted with the future she wanted and the future she was set to have the day she was born. One of her role models was her aunt Caroline Fitz, who married professional golfer, Roger Fitz. The reason why Eliana admired her was because Caroline established several hospitals around the United States. Lived and breathed for people - a constant want to save lives. Her aunt's involvement for a greater cause made Eliana want to become a humanitarian of some sort, maybe get a degree in social work? Travel the world and build better circumstances for others. 

And that's exactly what she did. 

When she applied to colleges in both England and America (mind you, she has dual citizenship), she spent many nights voicing her opinion, listing her reasoning, and passionately showing her parents that she did not want to become the next big CEO of Millennium. When your responsibility includes fighting global poverty, building awareness of issues like sex trafficking, and getting to know inspirational individuals, what more could you ask for? At first with reluctance, her father agreed and she indeed got herself a degree in social work, taking accelerating classes so she could get field experience near immediately. 

On her journey, various mission trips, in places with terrible conditions, she was not only scarred, meeting a militant man that pointed a gun to her head while she was with children, but she also met the love of her life (who was also a humanitarian like her). By 22, surprisingly finding time to get the approval of her parents, she was married (keeping her surname) and with child. Unfortunately, this lifestyle she led was not a healthy upbringing for her son. For the first five years of Erik Royce Lovelace's life, he resided in a large estate with his grandparents; seeing his mother and father on and off, since they were at the peak of their careers. 

At the time, Eliana didn't realize how much her life became about her husband and not her child, which caused her parents to eventually intervene. Turns out, the love of her life was not the greatest Samaritan in the book. Their life was built on lies and he was trying to squirm his way into her fortune. If only she could have seen how warped her mind was because of her husband and how much she failed as a mother, for the most important time of Erik's life. His childhood. 

The young woman was ready for change, but a change that would be good for both her and her son. She needed to repair the time lost. How could she have been so stupid? Her aunt, Caroline, offered her an opportunity and a gateway for change. Come to Washington, where she lived. Of course, this was another big decision in her life since once again she had to convince her parents, who were more fond of England than America, to let her continue her life, as she always lived, the way she sought fit for herself - and now her baby boy. Perhaps if she wasn't bullied in her home country many years ago, she wouldn't have found the need to constantly leave it. 

When she was 31, her son 9, they found themselves taking a great liking to Verona, Washington, and there she purchased a home in Riveredge and received a job as a Guidance counselor at Lincoln Memorial High. Now she's 40, with 9 years on her belt from working at the school, and her son is at the age where his future needs to be addressed... 

The apple may seem different, in many ways like the way he acts, speaks, and how at times he reminds her of his father, but it does not fall too far from the tree. Like mother, like son. Two people who would go out of their way to achieve great things.

[indent][color=lightgray]Imagine Eliana as an architect of the dream world. The type of power she received after the strange occurrence in Verona happened is rather fitting for her. In the past, her doctor believed she had nightmare disorder and because of that she was subjected to insomnia and had to take prescription pills to get a decent amount of sleep. Once she started being less afraid of the world and the terrible things people could do to others, the nightmares started to decrease. Her mind was being cleared as she grew into herself and found purpose. Her powers allow her to enter the mind of a sleeping subject and create a space/landscape in their head that directs them visually like they were in a storybook. If they are dreaming, she can modify the dream/nightmare, challenge others to lucid dream, and send messages that they would have to interpret later when they wake up. 

In the dreamworld, she has a strong influence on the images you will see, but at the end of the day, this is YOUR dream and you can take control over it. Eliana helps design the realm, but it is the subject who is in full control. They just have to realize they are in a dream. The main reason she'd enter someone's mind while they sleep is if she is warding away omens and monsters that make it hard for them to have a restful peace. One can say she tries to battle your mental monsters so you don't have to struggle as much as she did growing up. Remedy purposes and the chance to give you a colorful adventure that will put you in wonder and awe. Maybe even inspiring you?[/color][/indent]

[indent][color=lightgray]The stronger the mind, the harder to enter. Eliana's power is not easy to do. The mere fact that her power requires her to first enter someone's mind (willing or not), then create, manipulate, or shift their dreams, which is a subconscious reality, tests her extremely. The stress level for her power is ridiculous compared to others. It's not a walk in the park entering other people's worlds. Her powers are trespassing, yet she wants to do good. To be honest, she's afraid of staying in someone's mind for too long. Her body is left vulnerable in the physical world, while she's half-conscious. Part of her feels like she could be trapped if she gets lost in someone's dream, leaving her body in a comatose state. Since she can only affect sleeping subjects, Eliana is limited with time unless her subject is in a deep, deep sleep. Daydreams are level expert because said person is partially awake and she has yet to try that... nor does she want to.[/color][/indent]
