Like, he knows it isn't entirely his fault, but since she's his resaponsibility, he takes a 100% of the blame for her going missing/getting kidnapped. Followed by him  straight up to the shady duo to ask/demand where the truck is going with Vix. Possibly in less polite phrasing, all things considered.
