"Sorry..." For a split second, Kitala thought that she was [i]actually[/i] going to apologize. Which would have just been disappointing.

So, the worm has teeth. Kitala couldn't help but grin, even laugh a bit. [color=FF2400]"That's cute, coming from someone who looks about twelve. What are you, four foot ten?"[/color] Kitala could feel her heart start to pound just a bit. This was going to be [i]fun.[/i] She could hear Xareth back up a bit behind her; funny, she'd half expected him to try and stop her. Which...also have been disappointing. Man, Delsin was going to eat her [i]alive[/i] for this. But hey, it's all part of his inauguration, right? It's all part of the fun. Kitala took a deep breath, taking notice of all the sounds bouncing around the little group that had gathered. Plenty to work with, she figured, although she was only assuming this person was a mage as well. Would Xareth back her up if it comes to that? She decided it didn't matter all that much.

Because this wasn't just about the donut anymore.

[color=lightblue]"... and if I might say, you do make quite the cute couple."[/color] Her eyes widened in shock for a moment, looking back at Xareth-who seemed scared out of his mind-and Jansen for a few moments. Did he...actually think they were a couple? That [i]definitely[/I] caught her off guard, and she suddenly felt like knocking him around too for even [i]suggesting[/i] something like that. [color=FF2400]"We aren't-that's not-I-[i]no![/i]"[/color] If there was ever a way to make things worse, he had just done it.
