Kain Mist Cave
This is..the Cave that connects Baron to Mist. Why do I find myself here? Kain thought to himself as he recognized his surroundings. His memory was pretty fuzzy, but these surroundings evoked the memory..because of Cecil, his good friend. At the time, the two of them were trying to deliver the Carnelian Signet to Mist..they had to slay the Mist Dragon to proceed to Mist. He remembered Mist, set ablaze by the signet, which was actually a bomb..those poor people didn't deserve that. He remembered a little girl..but his memory started getting fuzzy from there. Regardless, he didn't wish to travel to Mist, as it probably wasn't where Cecil was. Kain decided he would travel to Baron. Knowing the cave well, he began making his way through the cave. Along the way, he spotted an old man just up ahead, looking a bit wary of his surroundings. "Excuse me, sir? would you happen to be lost? this cave is close to the Kingdom of Baron, and it runs to the town of Mist. Where do you wish to go? I am well-traveled, so perhaps I could point you in the right direction." Kain said to Galuf, offering his assistance. The Dragoon looked at the old man, who was dressed a bit strangely. He couldn't really pinpoint the man's Kingdom of origin. He certainly wasn't from the Kingdom of Baron, or the ghost town of Mist, Kain knew that much. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Layle South Figaro Forest ~ WoB
Layle wasn't really sure what was going on, but he knew he wasn't home. "Yo! is anybody out here?" Layle called out into the desolate forest. No response at all, just complete silence. "Man, this totally bites." Layle said to himself with a sigh. Just then, an idea popped into his head. Perhaps, if he used his Bearer abilities to toss a tree in the air, someone would come and investigate. After all, he'd likely die out here without any food. Layle went up to a tree, using his gravity-telekinesis to lift a tree into the air, and then tossed it several feet upwards, up into the sky and above the forest. It slammed back onto the forest floor with a resounding thud, causing Layle to jump back a bit. "Okay, let's see if that caught someone's attention." Layle said to himself. If it didn't work, he would just find another way out. His abilities afforded him many benefits, but he figured if someone was nearby it'd be easier to just let them know he was there too. "Where the heck am I, anyway?" Layle said to himself, looking around. This area just wasn't familiar to him at all. His memory was a bit fuzzy, he vaguely remembered something about doing a job for a Lilty Commander named Jegran..but he couldn't remember WHY he was doing it. Did this forest give you amnesia or something? that was a scary thought. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Jegran (Past) Edge of Madness
"UTTER. NONSENSE." Jegran aggressively yelled at Exdeath, trying to override him immediately and establish his own dominance. "You dare speak to the Lilty High Commander in that manner, you worm?" Jegran said to Exdeath, his voice full of venom. "You cannot even begin to comprehend the full extent of the power I wield, so I suggest you quiet yourself, before you make a mistake that will be your LAST." Jegran declared. Jegran then turned to the Emperor. "And as for you, if this really is another world as you so boldly claim, I suggest you also shut your mouth. Your pretentious attitude is insufferable. I have no reason to hold back in another world, and I have no patience to suffer fools such as yourself." Jegran said bitterly. "I demand to return to where I belong at once." Jegran said to Chaos. "I care not for why I am here, as whatever it is, is less important then my own plans." Jegran said. [@Shoryu Magami][@Raddum]
