SITUATION While Rick and his group are battling for their lives in the wasteland of Georgia, a small group of survivors band together on the wooded coast of Oregon. Their fortress - a an old pandemic research facility and hospital, Trenton's Research Facility of Contagious Diseases. This facility, dubbed Trenton, is around 120,000 square feet and surrounded by a four-acre plot of cleared land, which is in turn surrounded by miles of forrested area. Only five miles west of the facility lies the Pacific coast, where Walkers have been washing up for weeks. Most of the patients and doctors that inhabited the facility have been wiped out, and they either wander the grounds or are being fended off by the survivors, who are in desperate need of supplies and weapons. Despite the site's condition and isolation, several non-doctor types had found their way here in search of a vaccine, cure, or any more of their own reasons. Mainly, to find sanctuary. However, in a world where the dead roam freely, no place is safe forever. RULES 1. Be respectful, ethical, and use common sense. 2. You may kill off your own character and start new, but no killing others. 3. Keep the population of the facility relatively constant. 4. No sexually explicit material (duh). 5. Don't be an OP or a limelight hog, or you will bleed out the mouth and die a horrible death. 6. Incorporate the word "spoons" somewhere into your CS. 7. Have fun because its not you being munched on by the walking dead. NOTICE(S) Only two other doctors besides myself are welcome, so apply quickly if you want that position. Also, please please PLEASE try to keep the genders even. I know we all have our preferences, but think of the plot if there were just a bunch of women. The estrogen would strangle us all with its bloody hands. CHARACTER SKELETON NAME: first and last, please AGE: between 8 and 40 SEX: just put something here, preferably your gender APPEARANCE: please DEAR GOD be thorough, and NO pictures PERSONALITY: All I need are a few adjectives if you must be so lazy (like me) HISTORY: everyone has a story, so tell it (with detail, preferably) SPECIAL SKILLS: what can he/she/it contribute to us, because "those who do not work do not eat" ORIGIN: why are you at/coming to the facility WEAKNESSES: how do we know this person isn't a Mary-Stu? CHARACTER NOTES: anything else we should know? because I would like to know if your person is a blanket hog, so I can start picking bed buddies MY CHARACTER NAME: Michelle (Shell) Accart AGE: 26 SEX: Female APPEARANCE: stands at about 5'6" with a slender, non-muscular build and large curves that are modestly covered (in mostly medical uniform/labcoat), auburn hair that is kept in a messy bun (when down, it reaches a little below her shoulder blades), ivory complexion and round face, faint freckles stretching across her nose and cheekbones, a slightly jagged, white scar - about 2 inches long - stretches from just above her left eyebrow to the edge of her hairline PERSONALITY: nervous by nature, but she can get into the zone pretty easily (except when the are zombies around of course), collaborates well, is a people person (unless these people are dead) HISTORY: Shell was a well-off only child who lived in Chicago her whole childhood before moving to Rhode Island for college. She was an intern at the facility for about five months after graduating from Brown University on a masters degree in contagious diseases and medical science before "shit hit the fan". On some kind of bad-luck streak, her parents had been visiting her when everything went down, and were early victims of the Walker invasions. This gave Shell a (quite irrational) phobia of the Walkers, and her little-to-no combat skill render her almost useless on the field. SPECIAL SKILLS: Master of medical science, extremely intelligent in all things disease-ridden, quick and rational thinker, collaborates well ORIGIN: Was a doctor at the facility WEAKNESSES: almost useless in the field, shaky firearm aim, liable to irrational action in the line of duty CHARACTER NOTES: The scar on her forehead is an old Walker scratch that was almost immediately cleaned with strong, pure alcohol, therefore preventing much spreading. ONE LAST THING I'm begging you. KEEP THE GENDERS EVEN.
