On the contrary, children have a very clear tendency toward certain behavior and behaving toward the tendencies of a more mature individual makes a child "mature for their age." This is a ridiculous waste of time, however. You seem to dislike the fact that you harassed the young one. She deserved it. Misty will decide in time. Interfering will only make her decision more complicated.
