My uncle was in an air crash in the Peruvian Andes about 5 years ago and they found him and the three Archaeologists he was with after 4 days where he’d managed to set down the plane with minor injuries in a rocky valley above the tree line. He spent two days in hospital and then arranged to lease a plane on the third day so he could fly back to the dig he was on where he spent the next two months flying over the crash site of his own plane once a week to keep supplies and personnel going in and out of camp.


Old men can be stubborn but that is why I love him LOL
