Tasha nodded as he left, she knew it couldn't be good if Kumar was pulling Lincoln out to talk to him alone. She felt her stomach knot up, she didn't need to hear it. She knew what was coming, she'd been here before. Closing her eyes tight she let out a stuttered breath, still holding the tissue to her lips as a tear trickled down and sting her cheek. Kumar waited for Lincoln to finish before he began. "We're passed that point Lincoln," he said before taking a seat in one of the visitors chairs in the hallway. Pulling out the xrays and mri's he looked down at them. "The chemotherapy isn't working as well as we would like, and now she has come down with pneumonia," the doctor explained before handing them over to Lincoln and continuing. He, as delicately as he could, told Lincoln they were at the end. There was little chance that Tasha would make it out the week. The tumor wasn't shrinking, and with the pneumonia setting in she wasn't strong enough for anymore chemotherapy. Sighing he pulled his glasses off his face and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Our only hope is surgery at this point, to try to remove the tumor. Today. But Lincoln, if we do, it's only a small chance she'll wake up. She won't last a week without it, with it, she probably won't last the night." Sitting there he shook his head and looked back to Lincoln. "You need to say goodbye."
