Location: Front lines, defending the Orc Cave

Specific Resolutions: Crocodi Cyneburg: No threats detected inside the wall of ice, but there is the small problem that she's a reptile, surrounded on three sides by ice. The ground beneath her claws is beginning to ice over as well. Something to consider. Thomas: Thomas nearly slips on the ice forming on the ground, but keeps his footing after an interesting bit of what may or may not be interpretive dance. The spell goes off, and is an impressive display of light and magic. I would remind that the spell incorporated solar flames, and it was cast right near a damaged section of an ice wall. The ward is in place, however, and he is in a daze for the next minute. Best of luck. Calanon: Performs a very impressive vault onto his trusty steed, and makes a dashing sight setting aside sword and shield in favor of his recurve bow. The good news: The skeletons can't really flank the wall as it makes connection with either side of the cave entrance. More good news (kinda): There don't appear to be any more skellys running at the wall in that moment; the remaining six exploded on the wall already. But who knows? More might show up any second. (Cue ominous music.)

New Round

The next two or three seconds pass with nothing but the sound of wind and leaves. No unnatural laughter, no movement in the treeline, nothing. It is very much like a pause for breath by both sides in the conflict. Even the Orcs on the other side of the ice wall have stopped, apparently trying to figure out what the hell just happened. In a completely unexpected turn of events, the voice that was laughing with such obvious villainy before picks back up, this time speaking clearly, and in the Common tongue. "Thank you so much for a lovely evening. It was truly pleasurable getting to know all of you, but I am afraid I must be going soon. In return for the wonderful reinforcements you have provided, please accept this token of my gratitude. Oh, and have a pleasant night... ha ha ha Ha Ha HA HAHAHAAA! Another swarm of exploding bonies files out of the darkness, this time aimed solely at the Orcs out front. They seem to have zero interest in the Humans(and half-Humans, and token Elf), nor their sudden barricade of ice. But don't worry, there's still stuff to keep you busy! Remember the glowing red mist hovering among the trees? Well, it has elongated and developed darker spots toward the top of it, resembling eyes. It takes on a rough humanoid form, albeit large, without legs. In their place, a misty, vaporous column trails off behind it. Long, foggy claws lengthen from it, and it glides effortlessly toward the group, circling just outside of the ward set up by Thomas a moment before, high above the group. It seems interested in what they're doing, but hasn't made an aggressive move. Yet. Meanwhile, the first explosions can be heard past the ice. Accompanying them are the guttural shouts of Orcs.
