Leith watched the Pyromancy demonstration with some amusement. The teacher called on one of the new students to help, and showed what can be done with Pyromancy. He chuckled when the giant bird that the student made went straight for the man in black before pulling away. The smile on the student's face showed that she wasn't intending on harming the man, at least, that's what Leith hoped. The Vitamancy demonstration was interesting, and Leith made a mental note not get on the woman's bad side, and from how excitable she looked, seemed like a difficult thing to do. He suppressed a shudder at the thought of making that woman angry. He took a look around and saw a few students with extremely worried looks on their faces. With an amused look, Leith looked back at the head table, raised his eyebrows when the teacher that Xyden picked walked out. It turned out that she was the Cryomancer. Leith looked at Xyden when she announced it, and made a decision. "Well, since the odds were stacked against us from the beginning, I think that it's fair that the closest one to Hydromancy should win the wager, so you win. I just have two rules for the favour, if you don't mind. One: It won't hurt someone, and two: I won't get me into any deep trouble. Anything else is fair game." The rest of the demonstrations went by quickly, and Leith noted with a chuckle that his pick was right after the Cryomancy demo and was the farthest thing away from water. He jumped slightly when the Runemaster appeared right beside him and laughed. When it got to the Demonmancy demonstration, however, it seemed like all hell broke loose, quite literally. Demons started attacking people. The dining room no longer looked like the dining room. Some people started choking on the air. Leith had no idea what to do. His panic died away when he realized that the teachers wouldn't let something like this happen. He looked at the people that the demons attacked and noticed that while they did look human, they weren't. Leith looked at the head table and saw one of the teachers stand up and clap her hands. Roots burst from the ground and started to attack the demons. Leith watched in awe as Lucilia dispatched the demons quickly. The dining hall started to revert to its original look. With a sigh, Leith leaned back in his chair. He looked out at the students and noticed Ssarak standing up and looking at the ground by his table. As Leith wondered what it was that Ssarak was looking at, a gap in the students appeared and Leith saw the splintered remains of a chair. Leith waved at the black Esyire to get his attention. When he did, he gestured to his table. There was an empty chair, and Leith assumed that Xyden wouldn't mind having another person at the table.
