[@6slyboy6] So instead of having just one "Type" of magic, he has access to magic that is much, much more versatile by being capable of utilizing all types. Even if he needs preparation or create and hands to cast, very rarely would he ever be in a situation where he'll either be captured or bound in any way unless you've already messed up. You'll also need to specific just how long it takes to cast these spells and additionally, by doing so we'll have to limit the amount of actions people can preform during any hectic situation. In a fight "one minute" is a long time to do anything. If we were going by D&D rules, fights like what happened between Mithril and the others would have happened in about two minutes. All that destruction in less time it takes for people to take a leak. If that's not some high level play, I don't know what is. Even so, the sheer versatility of this rune magic out of combat steps into other magics. Healing, construction, communications, and who knows what else. You'll need to be a lot more defined about time and material components, and even so I'd be hesitant to accept anything that's effectively a 7th type of magic. General rule of thumb, if it can potentially do all types of magic, it's probably too powerful.
