[@Varicke] [@Alisdragon911] [@Song Book] [@Eviledd1984] Kerg has struck the purple alien with a melee attack with the momentum of a Krogan charge. Shortly before impact, he overheard Ridley's admission of piracy. Another Krogan might have asked for a job from Ridley. Kerg might not have been above asking himself. But seeing that scar wound on that woman from under the chair reminded himself too much of his beloved Stacy. A scar should come from battle. Kerg promised to share those scars with Ridley. Within his brain, a biological chip records. In another place, an AI has made a secret residence in Kerg's mind via a implant. It has one goal: resurrect the state it once ruled. Most of the previous recording has been unreadable to the AI, but in this tavern, it was seeing clearly. AI: Pirates means bounties. Bounties means rewards. Rewards mean resources. The Galactic Federation may have a significant bounty on this pirate or privateer. Transporting the pirate is risky, and the location of this Galactic Federation is unknown to it. A recording of the death of the pirate might suffice. Kerg is not a murderer by nature. If he wasn't a Krogan, he might have been a pacifist. But the AI appreciated Kerg's biology. It didn't take much to manipulate Kerg from quiet reflection to outrage at the pirate's brutality. But it will take much more for Kerg to cross the line from defending another's life to killing one out of rage. The AI knows Kerg must be notably injured to force the Krogan blood fury upon Kerg. Once Kerg is injured, he won't be able to stop until the object of his anger is dead. That suited the AI just fine. The AI knew that a punch from Kerg would likely trigger the Alien's retaliation. Measuring the impact on Ridley, the AI is considering abandoning Kerg. This purple body is very strong. And the avian like alien mentioned commanding military units. Ridley's body may suit the diabolical plans of the AI more than Kerg. If the AI can somehow access Ridley's mind, he will search for the coordinates of this "Brryo" system. The AI is beginning to regret starting this fight. If the Purple alien dies, it may lose a valuable opportunity. It may become stuck with subtlety influencing Kerg. It is difficult to raise an empire when your unwitting host has little desire for violence beyound natural instinct. For his part, Kerg strikes the Ridley partly for revenge for the girls injuries and partly to show the alien that these people have a protector in him. Kerg: This bully intimidates and strikes with force. I will show him my force to match his force. Kerg: Huh. Why does this Alien have glass in it's tail? And where is the bouncer? Does the bartender have a shotgun under the bar? And come to think of it, WHY DOES EVERYTHING LOOK LIKE ITS MADE OF WOOD? Kerg: WHERE THE +×÷= AM I?
