Gren's weapons doesn't need upgrades. At most, it needs new ammo. Which depending on how liberal we can be with ammunition types, I won't even need credits for. AC's a sucker's game anyways, the best armor is not getting hit. Hence why most of my upgrades are going for extra mobility, with tankiness since Gren isn't the most mobile.
