[@Ambiguity] They're more of a rebellion against the more fascist points of the Fire Nation, so unless she's protecting someone who helped burn down the North pole I don't really see how that would play out? Actually, thinking about it this could be a good idea. What if the rebellion itself has grown a little fascist and corrupt and the person your character is protecting is some sort of high profile character who disagrees with the methods of the rebellion and thereby must be gotten rid of according to the leaders of the rebellion? That could also give Chou a reason to split off from them and start travelling with the Avatar?
