[@Denalz] Before I go to the effort of putting together a lengthy reply to this, I have a question for you: what is your opinion of fantasy and adding elements of fantasy to *checks* in this case, a historical rp?  For example, one where Zeus's priests could shock people with lightning, or where fairies might really take you underhill if you found them dancing?  Alternatively, functional magic is a serious love of mine.  I don't /usually/ stray too far from the fantasy umbrella, but the historical eras you've mentioned are mostly ones I've been toying with trying, and you seem like a decent fellow with reasonable expectations.  Might be worth the stretch even if you don't want any fantasy at all.  I'd need to think on it.
