I haven't looked here since last night and just caught up over the course of about fifteen minutes, [i]including[/i] the time I spent deciding what music I wanted to listen to. I don't expect everyone to have my inhuman reading speed, but it really isn't hard. Most posts that are completely irrelevant are obvious as such; image-only posts, video-only posts, and replies of that nature are easy to spot and are clearly of a low priority. Wall of text? Probably worth at least skimming. A multi paragraph post from a GM or co-GM? Definitely worth skimming, if not reading in detail. No one expects anyone to read every single post in the IC or OOC, but it [i]really[/i] isn't hard to skim and figure out what needs to be read. Nor is it hard to at least keep somewhat aware of what changes and events are going on IC. I won't pretend to keep up to date with everything, but I [i]do[/i] keep aware of any larger gatherings of characters or discussions in the OOC. Whether they're related to me or not. It just makes things easier for everyone when someone isn't going to be blindsided by something that has been discussed or something that has occurred just because it wasn't immediately relevant to them.
