Literally. Everything was crumbling, these strange creatures milling around their territory... What had happened? Eric had wondered this the whole time he snuck around to a meeting place. His friend had mentioned something about joining, "The Hunters," who lived on the district with the least amount of Mutations. "It wasn't hard to miss," he had said. By God, Erin hoped his friend was right. Slinking over to an old abandoned district, he caught himself letting out a breath of relief. Nothing around. No one to kill. Thank God; he never was good at making people suffer. In fact, he wanted to help people. His dream has always been to be a doctor, but he never succeeded that dream because of this damned apocalypse. He clenched his fists a little at the thought of his crushed dream and awakening nightmare. When all this was over, he'd study to help prevent this from happening again. Definitely nothing dangerous, not that he could see. It seemed... calm, peaceful, even. But the complete silence was eerie. Usually you could hear the groans of Mutations and screams of humans in the distant, but it was just quiet. No noise. No sound. No nothing. Erin shook the thought away. There couldn't be an attack happening now, in this place. It was guaranteed safe by his friend. Though, his friend had the tendency to prank people and lie to their face... Okay, so maybe the brunette was screwed. He was alone in a too quiet place during the Apocalypse. What could possibly go wrong?
