So I suppose your own creation will suffice, as long as it is, of course, not too OP and can have a human form.

As for your other question, it's for the GM to answer, but currently, there are only three factions and no mentions of subterfuge, spies, espionage agents and the like.

Forgive me for being nosy (again), but it is stated in the starter post that the Inactive/Uncaring stance is not valid for Hunters, so if you are going to make a Hunter character, they have to be Active. Or they can be the Oblivious human at the start of the RP who eventually becomes a Hunter (or a Supernatural. No discriminations :P ).
Also, if you can't choose, you can always have two characters ^-^
