[@Pudding][@UnknownScarlet4][@Aewin][@Ailyn Evensen][@tsukune][@Xyo][@MayLien][@CrazyShadowy][@Bishop][@Masaki Haruna] [@KoL][@Eidolen] Next group poke incoming. The following post contains discussion points regarding the role-play, and will be one of your last chances to post concerning them. After the discussion on these points is dealt with, I'll be getting ready to move this over to the official thread for the role-play. I'd appreciate people confirming if they're still interested, regardless of whether they've got input or not about the discussion points. For obvious reasons, since these discussion points concern finalizing the details of how the role-play works, those who know they aren't gonna participate in the role-play shouldn't give input -- this doesn't affect them, after all. I might be missing something, and if that's the case I'll bring it up once I'm in a better state of mind.
Characters Remaining In Play After Death

Now on a more immediate matter -- does anyone have opinions or feelings regarding the possibility that dead characters will be able to continue to be able to take part in the role-play in some sort of light? Before I even consider discussing how this might work, I want people to give their thoughts, since this element's something I believe my plot can adapt around both ways. Those who die can either be out for good, or I can have ways to allow those characters to continue to be part of this thing to a certain capacity -- I'd like your opinions. This idea primarily exists so people who get eliminated don't feel like they're being 'kicked out' of the role-play, but I've got ways I can use it creatively. Just for the record -- characters who get killed because their player broke the opening post's code of conduct section (under the title 'The Rules') don't count.
Since this hasn't been addressed yet, I'm reposting it here.
Elimination Rules
As I've mentioned in the thread multiple times now, this role-play is gonna include an elimination system where players can be killed. While I still don't have a complete idea of how many people're getting involved in this, I'd like us to discuss our thoughts regarding the existence of this system (the elimination primarily exists as a nod to the 'murderer game' thread I run, and also because fans of stories with similar systems - such as Danganronpa - are interested in this role-play), especially considering the plot is a lot deeper than that premise. Examples of thoughts we can discuss include:

The existence of the elimination voting system in the first place. After all, it primarily exists as a nod to the 'murderer game' thread and also as a nod to things like Danganronpa and such (those shows like that didn't inspire this project, and are mostly just a link people have made in hindsight). Much like Danganronpa, the plot of this role-play has the potential to develop beyond this premise, so keep this in mind. It's entirely possible for people to die in this role-play without the elimination voting system, so I'd like us all to seriously discuss how we feel about that system. Basically, at specific plot points you guys will be engaged in a battle of wits where you need to vote for who you think is the murderer in your group, and the person who gets the majority votes is eliminated.

Whether or not the murderer will be actively killing people off (other things besides the murderer can kill you, just for the record), assuming we do go with the voting system. The reason I bring this up is the primary motivation for me wanting to know how many people are actually interested in this role-play, because if people are occasionally getting eliminated through voting and the murderer can eliminate people at specific points then our numbers could start thinning out pretty quickly unless there's a lot of players. With this in mind, I want everyone's thoughts concerning this and its symbiosis with the previous point.

The Missing Tag
'Arena' is the most likely additional tag to be added, simply because part of this role-play is probably (based off the above entry) gonna involve elimination games between the players in terms of a battle of wits, and will be a battle of wits between the players in general unless you all choose to put things aside and work together. The only other option would've been 'Slice of Life', but to the best of my understanding the usual meaning of that tag's misleading and could give people the wrong impression of this role-play. If it could be appropriate and I'm just not familiar with its overall use as a tag, someone should fill me in. If 'Slice of Life' implies realistic characterization and an emphasis on realism (even if it's in a supernatural or unrealistic setting) then most of my works apply to it, since my works tend never to be rooted in escapism -- generally speaking my works are 'literary fiction' and has a large emphasis on psychology, social commentary, and the human condition. 'Fantasy' wasn't included mostly because I feel like it applies to stuff like Lord of the Rings, not contemporary fantasy -- feel free to let me know otherwise. 'Romance' wasn't included mostly because whether or not it happens is heavily subjective to the cast, at least in terms of the player characters.
Public CS & Private CS
As I've made clear a few times now in a couple of posts (including updates to the opening post), characters will be registered with both a 'Public CS' and a 'Private CS'. This is to prevent you all from knowing too much about each other's true natures or pasts, to build immersion and create a sense of unknown where even learning about the other players in detail will be an engaging experience full of spoilers and plot twists. With this in mind, I'd like anyone to ask questions or concerns they have regarding how this works and what kind of information goes where. Also, I've already made this clear before but - yes - a lot of the categories in your 'Public CS' are allowed to be lies so long as they're within reason and the truth about them is included in the 'Secrets' section in your 'Private CS'. Both of these character sheets need to be accepted before you post the 'Public CS' into the character tab.
