[b]Personality:[/b] Rory is a peaceful man who enjoys being under the sun and riding on a horse. He has a fierce sense of justice in the world and is protective of those that he views as close to him. He can be serious at times when the need is required but this is rare as he does not like that side of himself. 

[b]History:[/b] Rory was born into a family of ranchers who managed large herds of cattle across the plains that bordered the deserts to the south of the Dragon Fang Mountains. He grew up traveling across the plains in a very nomadic family unit stopping at cities and villages every once in a while to sell cattle and other wears. This was always a hard time for Rory as he grew up around others that became close friends for him but he did not know how to act around those that were not part of that nomadic group. He learned how to defend himself with weapons at an early age as they had to defend the cattle at times from bands of mercenaries and thieves who were looking for a quick meal. 

A few years after the war broke out, Rory finally got to the age where he and a group of his friends could enlist in the Confederacy's army. They were assigned to a independent skirmishing calvary force that was used to probe the desert for passage to the Empire. During this time, Rory distinguished himself as a skilled fighter when engaged in several skirmishes with the Onxy Empire which is the reason why he was chosen to accompany the group that was sent to Castle Grimm.

[b]Why I Fight:[/b] Rory has a deep sense of nationalism to serve his country in times of need. He also fights to protect those that he declares are close to him like family and friends.

[b]Skills:[/b] Rory has an inherent aptitude for riding horses due to his upbringing as a rancher since he spent a good amount of his life on the back of a horse. Along with the skills of riding a horse, he displays skills with spear on horseback and even on ground that are unmatched to his knowledge. Rory is also competent with a sword though he does lack basic tactical and political thinking.
