[@LadyRunic][@FallenTrinity] I know I'm not exactly here anymore, but...the current Captain of the Guard for Spring was mentioned once or twice, but never filled in.  Perhaps him?  It sets only a few limitations in terms of age -- he's probably at least a couple millenia, and would have served under Duska in the past, becoming a respected member of Spring's forces.  She would have put him forward when she stepped down, and when Sini declined the position.
