The entire concept continued to confuse Jaina to no end. There was no way, as far as she was concerned, to tell the difference between life and death. She had been told to look for movement before, but she had kicked someone they said was dead before, and she saw him flinch! The galaxy must have been playing a trick on her, but Jaina tried not to let it bother her. "Excuuuuse me, miss!" Jaina said, stretching slightly as she threw herself to her feet, doing an unneeded backflip in the process. "I have a name, ya know. Jaina Aurora Sarbye, but you might know me professionally as the Joker." Jaina did a slight courtesy, before looking in astonishment at Morgbra, as if forgetting he was there. "And that's our cheerleader. Apparently he's here too." Her ear perked up slightly as she heard that fateful word: medical. Her eyes darted slightly, and she noticed the horrible, despicable place she was. Each time she blinked, images flashed back to her mind. Her heart beat accelerated, and she noticed the blonde man with the unusual eyes. This was all new, unfamiliar territory... Her mind flickered back to what had happened before. She had seen...him. She had shot at Kordath. A soft smile played on her lips. He looked so funny when he fell, so surprised, so shocked. Maybe he'd like that new game, Jaina pondered, but her mind once more latched onto where she was. In any minute, the odd man would chain her to a bed. Her happiness would be stolen. There was still the familiar weight of her weapons, but for some reason, Jaina didn't draw them. Instead, she practically cartwheeled backwards, until she was as far away from the medical bay as she could be, while remaining in Morgbra's sight. It was one of her most calm reactions to a medical bay in her life. Perhaps she still wasn't quite herself. Perhaps she was still the person who shot Kordath in cold blood.
