[@FallenTrinity] I allow that type, as the hound will be a better form of a Hell Hound. The dragon, no. I've called no dragons before, I'll call it now. Here are some sites I used when researching this RP The second one is very good: http://ladyaleta.com/aleta/types.htm http://www.fairiesworld.com/myths-mythology/folklore-names.shtml [@shylarah] Easy there, this is a Work In Progress, and you're overthinking it. You're presuming FallenTrinity is going to switch Courts. On top of that you're presuming it is commoner than it is. If a commander left from one court to another they would be killed, lest the Ruler or their over-Lord had something to prove they were not such a easy turncoat. A hundred times out of a hundred a rogue commander is killed by both enemy and allies. When you reach such a rank within a Court there has to be a VERY good reason that you leave it, that you would rather death than to stay! For common Fae to switch Courts is such a sentence. Though rather one of indentured servitude till they either won free of the bond or were ransomed back. IF they were ransomed back they could expect anything from better to worse treatment and possibly- agian- death. It's a INCREDIBLY risky thing to do, changing courts. A child may get away with crossing the border or slip through a hole, generally becoming indentured servants when they are caught. It's why Falk was so infuriated about Nyx. A Shade, a wright from his Realm betrayed and defected to have a child! Half breeds are generally either left to suffer the prejudiced of their outsider heritage. Most of these live in the No'Man's Land strips between Fae Lords, eking out what living they can. That Nyx was raised in the palace with such a friend as Circe (?) was a wonder. That he became a King galled the Ancient Fae Of Fall. And reasonably so. If Fallen's character defected, Falk would have his name. He would have it if Fallen's character was born to Falk as well. Why he didn't take Sini was because she was Spring, and Nyx. He couldn't touch her, much less offer her aught when he knew she would bring nothing but trouble. Spring in Fall! He would have a uprising for a petty little sprig! Better to see her dead, and her king as well. Names can be taken but they must be willing given. Duress aside. Falk doesn't do it often, but when he does... He tries to keep the impact to peaceful discussion, and pleasent threats. And with such a ancient Fae? Threats are sometimes all that are needed, to see him in a wrath helps. War between Summer and Winter, as was noted. Before that there was really only skirmishes over trivial matters. Fae Wars don't erupt over much, but they do happen every now and then. Notable wars: ((SPOILERS))
- Sidhe and the Darkness -Earth Sidhe and Heavenly vs the Tuatha de Danann - Seelie and Unseelie Split - Fall and Spring Form -Falk Rises -Power struggles as rulers change (About one large war every few hundered years, depends how often the rulers change)
