Vampires. Overdone? Maybe. Cliche? Maybe. If you're referring to modern day vampires. Twilight, is a no go. I like Anne Rice style vampires. Is she Modern day? Yes... but her stories are not. I want to go back to the 1700's and the 1800's. Everyone was scared of everything they didn't know. They had no tolerance for things that were different. They killed, sometimes without remorse. Hm.. that sounds a lot like today's day and age, we're just more technological about it. Anyways! My character is not only a vampire, she's a fairy as well. (She was created before Twilight ever came out) Her name is Lillith Rosenberg. Her mother was fae, her father was a vampire. They had a forbidden love, hidden in secret. Until Lillith was born. As soon as the families found out what was going on, her family was hunted down and killed. Except for her. One of the family members had a softened heart and stole her away so couldn't be killed. This person pretended that Lillith was his when she was old enough, sent her off to school. That's where this roleplay starts. She is in her final year of high school. Honor roll, cheerleader and still no one knows her secret. At least, that's what she thinks. There are two different options for another character in this storyline. 1) The family member who rescued her. The plot-line could go a number of different ways. (a) He develops feelings for her that he can't hide. He doesn't act on them, but he does make them well known to her. (b) He develops feelings for her and tries to hide them, but finds that he can't. So not only does he let her know how he feels, but he acts on them as well, which could include a number of thins including rape, proposed marriage, blackmail or threats of death if she doesn't decide to be his and only his. (c) He decides that he doesn't want to help her anymore and kicks her out, leaving her to fend for herself. And then here he could either tell the village who she is and risk getting himself killed for harboring her for so long, or just let her go on her own without telling anyone. 2) The person who knows her secret. Could either fall in love with her or completely hate her. Could help her or could destroy her. Whichever you choose, I think this could be a good play. So, if anyone is interested, then shoot me a PM :)
