Ammunition, weapons, every piece of equipment he needed, it was as if he'd been dragged into the war all over again, all because of him. Jackson got this way almost any time they were going to encounter the Alliance, he was always ready for a fight, for trouble, but this time he was looking for it. When it came to Quinn, things changed, it wasn't just about his wife then, it was about everyone he'd lost, the whole war was crashing back down on his head right then, and this time he wasn't going to let the man get away. Pumping his shotgun one last time, he sighed as he put it up on the wall, moving to the ladder as he climbed up it. As he got to the top, he saw as Daphne hurried past, his gaze followed her, hearing what she was saying, he turned to the cockpit, climbing up into it and peering down at the scanners. He could see the ship coming in, and he knew exactly who and what was on it. Clenching his fist, he stared at the console, murder in his eyes. He allowed Jahosafat to come to him with his questioning, he didn't want to cause an issue, but after his conversation with Camilla, the discussions were more and more bitter. For the first time in years, Quinn was questioning himself, questioning his orders, everything told him he had to complete his mission, to kill or capture everyone aboard the firefly, but he knew that he could not bring himself to harm the woman he loved, nor could he allow her to be harmed by anyone under his command. As he heard Lieutenant Harper called to the Bridge, Quinn pushed himself to stand, putting on that charade once more, the good officer held to his duty. Adjusting his uniform, he slipped his sidearm into its holster, heading out of his office and down toward the Bridge, hands clasped behind his back neatly. As he walked onto the bridge, he heard the Lieutenant speak up, informing him of the situation as he moved up to his usual station, staring out the viewport at Whitefall. "Let's head down, Lieutenant, no need for any delay." He commented simply, part of him wanted to hold off on it as long as he could, to delay what would come, but he knew there was no running for it, it was time to get it all over with.
