[@Hannibal] I'd say fantasy more medieval, but arguably you could have very basic steam punk technology. 

As for male vs female witches. I would say that for every 10 females witches there is a male witch. So right off the bat there is a less likely chance for a male witch to be born powerful. I also think that witches tend to invest more training in females because they have the preconceived notion that female witches are simply more capable than males, so male believe that they are not as powerful. But, outside of that, there really isn't a difference in power.

[@Fetzen]I was keeping andri in the lore. Why not have an Andri off spring ? And yes, Khan can be inherited ...because Khan amuses me.
