Your Name: Dedonus Character Name: Carol Susan Jane Danvers Character Alias: Ms. Marvel Character Allignment: Hero Character Appearance:

Ms. Marvel is able to use her powers to switch between her pre-transformation and Kree-Human hybrid appearance. Her Kree-Human hybrid looks like the picture above, while her pre-transformation looks like a regular college-aged student. Characters Abilities: -Kree-Human Hybrid: Through the experiments of the Brood, Carol Danvers is now a hybrid of the Kree and human species. These experiments raised her powers above the levels of any normal human or Kree. For instance, Carol inherited the Kree skin density, bestowing upon her near invulnerability. However, since she is a hybrid, she does not need an enriched Nitrogen atmosphere to breathe. -Superhuman Strength: Due to her enhanced Kree/Human physiology, Ms. Marvel is able to easily lift 75 tons (average). However, as she absorbs energy, Ms. Marvel is able to lift more weight, easily over 100 tons. -Superhuman Speed: Ms. Marvel is able to move at high speeds, easily above any levels a normal human could ever dream of. -Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: Ms. Marvel’s agility, balance, and reflexes far exceed that of any regular human. While concentrating, only villains with the fastest reflexes and truest aim will be able to land a blow on Carol. -Superhuman Stamina: Carol’s enhanced Kree-Human physiology allows her to continuing exerting herself at full effort for several hours. Her energy absorption ability increases the upper limits of her stamina. -Invulnerability: Ms. Marvel’s skin is able to withstand almost any soot of punishment, while her energy absorption defends her from almost anything else. Bullets bounce off her skin like nothing, while larger armaments fare a little better. Repeated powerful blows can wear her down, but weaker ones may sometimes go unnoticed. -Flight: Ms. Marvel is able to reach Mach 3 while flying. At lower speeds, she is able to maneuver in the air with ease. She is also capable of using her own body as a human projectile, ramming into her enemies with great force. -Photonic Blasts: Carol is able to blast photonic projectiles from her hands. Her energy absorption enhances the power of these bolts of energy. -Energy Absorption: Part of Ms. Marvel’s invulnerability is her energy absorption. While her body can absorb any form of energy, her body is especially efficient in absorbing electric, light, thermal energies and radiation. -Minor Molecular Control: Ms. Marvel is able to change her clothing through using her energy absorption powers. She is also able to switch between her hybrid and regular human form at will. These powers are easily used with the slightest amount of heat or light energy. Characters Skills: -Expert Combatant: When she was changed by the Kree Psycho-Magnetron, Carol also received the knowledge of Kree combat that someone of Kree heritage would have learned as they grew. -Love for the Stars: Carol has been interested in the space and the stars. Because of this, she has pursued a degree in order achieve her dreams of reaching the stars. Her powers have also allowed her to achieve this dream. -Multilingual: Carol is obviously fluent in English. Her transformation into Ms. Marvel has made her fluent in the language of the Kree. She has also picked up Russian as an undergrad. Origin Story:
Carol Danvers was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Joseph and Marie Danvers. Even though she was the eldest child in the family, her father, Joseph favored his two sons, Steven and Joseph Jr. No matter what she did, whether Carol excelled at school or athletics, nothing pleased her father. It almost seemed as if he expected one of his two sons to carry on the family name. Even though his sons did not perform at the same level as Carol, their father still preferred them. During her middle school years, tragedy struck the Danvers family. At the time, Joseph Danvers’ contracting business was barely staying afloat. One night, Joseph Sr. was driving Carol and Steven home after their father had drank his sorrows away after a dismal day of work. Since he was too intoxicated to be operating motor vehicles, Joseph Sr. caused a traffic accident. While the other driver luckily left the crash relatively unharmed, his son Steve failed to survive. Carol’s father could not accept the reality that his impaired driving caused the death of his eldest son, instead blaming Carol as the child who survived. Ever since Steven’s death, Carol’s father descended into a spiral of despair. Now the bottle became his constant companion, even more so since the decline of his contracting career. Sometimes, when business was not faring well and Joseph has drank too much, Carol’s father would come home in a drunken stupor, capable of beating what remained of his broken family. While his two remaining children would occasionally feel the blunt force of their father, Carol’s mother usually was on the receiving end so that her children were not.

Carol’s abysmal life did not end there. Her junior year in high school, Carol learned that her family had only enough money to send one of his offspring to college and that her father had chosen her brother over her, in spite of her superior academic and athletic career. For her entire life, Carol had dreamed of the stars, wishing to go to space one day. She wished to become Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineer so that Carol could one day see the stars. However, now her dreams were crushed. Or so she thought. One night, Carol was abducted by Brood-infected Kree and taken to their outpost that was orbiting Neptune. One uninfected Kree officer, Mahr-Vehl, after he had discovered the Brood infiltration, rescued Carol from his doomed comrades. However, during this rescue, a device, called the Kree Psyche-Magnetron, mixed Carol’s DNA with that of the Kree. And from this day, Carol became something more than human. She was a superhuman. At first, Carol had a split persona that created her superhero alter ego, whom the Boston media dubbed Ms. Marvel, after ‘she’ had saved a plane from crashing. However, when the Brotherhood of Mutants attempted an assassination of Senator Kelly, merged Carol’s personas together in the hopes of drawing out Carol’s unexperienced human persona. With the help of the X-Men, Carol was able to thwart the Brotherhood’s evil plans, despite her more experienced Kree persona no longer in control. Eventually, S.W.O.R.D., a subdivision of S.H.I.E.L.D. dedicated to extra-terrestrial threats against Earth, recruited Carol because of her abilities. Besides being trained to control her abilities, Carol was allowed to be enrolled in S.W.O.R.D.’s academy in New York City on a full ride once she had graduated from high school. This obviously solved the problem of her father not being able to send her to college and it allowed her to pursue her dreams of reaching the stars. When Galactus attacked Earth, S.W.O.R.D., as the extra-terrestrial arm of S.H.I.E.L.D., along with Carol, were Earth’s first response against the galactic entity. Along with other of the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, who eventually formed the Avengers, fought off Galactus and saved the world from becoming a barren wasteland.
Story Arcs: -Moonstone: Obviously a story involving the villain(ess), Moonstone. -Rogue: I hope to tell this story with a twist (including Carol keeping her powers and memories). -Avenger?: Carol is adjusting to the life of both an undergrad and an Avenger. How will her teammates feel if they discover that she’s younger than she leads them to believe. Supporting Cast: Walter Lawson: Agent of S.W.O.R.D. who personally recruited Carol. He is also secretly the Kree scientist, Mahr-Vehl, who wishes to protect humanity due to its biological diversity, unlike his own kind, the Kree. Abigail Brand: Head of S.W.O.R.D. Avengers: Earth’s Mightest Heroes. Carol is one of their most recent recruits.
