[@Sigma] You can even have it where, since Gaian miners have all served in the military, usually have weapons somewhere close by, and have defense systems in the asteroid colonies, the Dalthu have more casualties than they expected, and earn a special hatred towards Gaia. This way, your attack on the colony can become a sort of Gaian Alamo, while the Dalthu have a reason to start moving towards the Human Core.
