Opportunities Part one: Sasha
Sasha looked around at everything that was accumulated in the small room. Some of it she recognised as her dragons, child like, and some she remembered drawing months ago. It was a little unnerving that Patrick had had access to these drawings, but that wasn't the point. There was a journal, and under his watachful gaze, Sasha flicked it open, feeling her heart stick in her throat at the faint memory of her mothers handwriting. "Oh..." She picked it up, and for a moment, she was immersed in it. It looks like mine... Although Sasha's was kind of untidy, shaky. She had only really learned how to read and write properly the last year or so. Flicking through a few pages, her heart beating fast, she closed the cover. She couldn't deny anything now. Shifting slightly, she slipped the journal into her satchel, and turned to look to Time Lord, Patrick. The look on his face, one of hesitation, of slight pain, told her what she was already beginning to sense. "It doesn't change my decison. I'll do what I need to. If...if...No. When we succeed, I'll deal with the fall out afterwards" Her gaze roamed over the research, and she bit her lip. "Why does it always come back to Zeref? And dragons. Always dragons" Perhaps it wasn't a coincidence that she had come together with Lazarus. With his past...Sasha shifted, and spun about, just as the door to the small room opened, revealing Master Jamie. Wide eyed, Sasha wondered how the master had come here, had known. "Because, Sasha, true evil paints the world and leaves its mark for all to see, yet...I think in this case...its something else" Jamie said, and Sasha noticed she appeared a little harrassed, something she had never seen the Master like, in the years she'd been apart of the guild. It made Sasha's heart yearn, as she sought to try and help her guild master, as if she could fight whatever inner turmoil the woman was experiencing. "A lot of research, here...You're far from your home, and indeed Time, Mr Lord" Patrick, Sasha noted, had whitened upon Jamie's entrance, which was curious in itself. "I'm aware of that, Mrs Beltras. I shouldn't be surprised that you know I'm not from this time. The magic used to transfer me so far back in time was extensive, and I was just a child. I feared I'd come too late, but the man I called father had faith in me, and thus I'm here." Jamie watched Patrick a moment, as if trying to figure something out, before she smiled slightly. "Well, I'm sure your father is proud of you, where ever he is. Well. So they're all still alive, the dragons? Ah. So that's how Miss Heartfillia..." Jamie trailed off, and Sasha was sure she was missing something. Frowning over that, she listened as Jamie continued. "Well, it wouldn't be the first time Dragoneel has been misplaced in time. Still...a pickle. One I anticipated, and one I'm preparing for even now, if only we could sort out our differences..." Jamie sighed, and ran a hand through her hair, "And Zeref, of course, except...hm. Interesting...Well. How...perfect. I can see why things are spread as they are" Yes. Sasha was definetely missing something, but she thought she knew what Jamie meant. Shifting, Sasha glanced first to Patrick, then to her guild Master. "You know what I have to do, Master Jamie. I'll be back before we go, though" Two months would be enough time, surely..."I'd like to take some others with me, if their Guild Masters will allow it" For some reason, that caused Master Jamie to smile, a chuckle escaping her. "Sometimes its funny, the way fate has a habit of giving us what we want. Yes, Sasha, I believe the guild masters will be...approachable to that. Take two, from each guild then, if they wish. But make it clear the ones you want" Sasha nodded, relieved, and excusing herself, she headed out the room, leaving Patrick and Master Jamie to themselves. Jamie glanced to Patrick again, gave him a soft smile, seeming to want to do more, before she too left, following Sasha back to the Phoenix wing hotel.
