It will be good to see a healer doing more then the typical healing. If anything it will only serve to aid, but just remember, and I did talk to thin, have the conversation saved, that some enemies will be weaker or stronger against some schools of magic. 

Anyway as stated it's not a bad idea, and once the anti magic goes down you might be able to see into the enemy better, just don't expect much.
