Definitely something of an embodiment of the phrase 'tall, dark, and handsome', and despite his lean frame he possesses a powerful visual figure. For the last couple of decades since he appeared before the world his physical appearance has never changed, leading some to believe he has uncovered a miracle fountain of youth medicine or perhaps simply undergoes surgery a lot. His skin is a pale olive colour which makes it particularly difficult to discern his ethnicity, adding to his mysterious charm, and his ochre eyes are piercing and magnetic. While appearing European, it is virtually impossible to pinpoint exactly what his bloodline might be. Long and wavy dark brown - extremely dark; in fact, virtually black - hair frames around and down passed his face in unkempt parted bangs, flowing about. His hair, perhaps even curly, also moves behind passed his neck and easily reaches at least a third of the way down his back. He has also grown a noticeable goatee, which he keeps well-groomed.

The clothing he is more known for starts with an untucked white dress shirt with long sleeves, the first few buttons starting from the collar being left undone - whenever there are buttons done up at all - and the cuffs of his wrists are completely undone too in order to avoid any tight sensations, while the collar itself is sometimes worn up. Most of his clothing tastes can be considered rather loose since he seemingly wears outfits a little too big for him completely out of choice, making him appear slightly less lithe than really he is and also giving the impression he is not as formal as his cultured personality might imply. Loose black pants and a pair of black shoes make up his primary lower body ensemble, and the golden pocket watch he keeps on him can usually be seen slightly due to part of its chain hanging out of his right pocket. Worn over the rest of his clothing is a fashionable black overcoat that is treated more like a cape rather than a proper coat, as he usually chooses not to wear his arms in the sleeves and simply lets the thing drape over his shoulders. The coat is very long and almost goes down all the way to his feet, and the collar is also worn popped up. Almost always carried with him is a golden sceptre with a cross-like shape at the tip, which is an antique of unknown origin. The cross-like shape at the tip also has an orange jewel at the centre. Though he does not wear it all the time, he will frequently have a black top hat included in his ensemble to emphasize his noble visage. The other article of clothing which he sometimes wears is a men's white ruffle, though he usually only wears this on occasions where he does all but one of his dress shirt's buttons up.[/indent][/indent]

Regardless of his reclusive nature, he is said to be charming and empathetic, with immense wisdom and the romantic spirit of a poet -- a man who can inspire those come into contact with his soul. Many urban legends and conspiracy theories are centred around him, including some who go so far as to claim he is a modern vampire -- he has in fact been seen out in the daytime on very rare occasions though. The ladies want him and the gentleman want to be him. He owns a private piece of land in Paris, and is rumoured to have enough influence over international affairs that many claim he is behind many of the developments in every field of society in unseen ways. For completely unknown reasons, he sent out a mysterious letter to a group of individuals who were only connected by each having unfulfilled aspirations -- many of those invited dreamed for things beyond the boundaries of reality. Indeed, something about the look in his brown eyes almost seems like there is some sort of demon haunting him -- not that he appears otherworldly or anything, but to a careful observer he almost looks as though he has stared into the darkest abyss and seen it stare back at him. He appears as though he likely does not sleep very often, if the weary look on him is anything to go by, yet despite that his gaze is extremely intense.

His short hair is significantly greyed, but his natural hair colour in his youth would likely be brown given the way it looks, and it is kept slicked back, spiking to a small extent, with a slightly receding hairline being noticeable as it goes out to the sides of his forehead. His sideburns directly connect to his rather volumed facial hair -- a large beard and moustache that easily result in most of his face below his nose being hidden apart from his mouth, as well as him having fairly thick and seemingly unkempt eyebrows. His light skin tone is European, but difficult to place completely (he sort of looks Jewish overall, but not entirely), and he is a little below average height -- a somewhat stocky figure. 

The clothing he wears is simple, consisting mostly of a thick black double breasted coat, black pants, and black shoes. A white scarf can be seen around his neck from underneath the coat, but beyond that not much of what he wears is noticeable due to the coat going down almost to his feet, though the cuffs of a white shirt are visible. A short black cloak covered the top half of his coat as well. Apparently, his purpose for being in Paris is to seek out a 'reunion' with a certain person, though he is usually reluctant to say who this is except in very specific circumstances. For some reason, he is aware of the existence of the letters sent out to the group of people invited to Lucifer Van Bonaparte's estate for the gathering on April 14, 2012.[/indent][/indent]

His upper body clothing consists of three layers -- a red jacket on top, a black hoodie in the middle, and a white tan zip-up shirt underneath that has red trim up the centre and along the collar which is worn up. His outfit is a bit worn in general, implying he wears it quite a lot. He also wears a golden locket at almost all times, which is his most cherished possession. [indent][indent]Leonard is a young man with a tragic past, losing his parents in an accident while he was a mere infant and taken in by Grove Walker - his godfather and a long-standing close friend of his parents - who adopted the boy and raised him like he was his own son. Never really knowing about his parents outside of comments from Grove about their friendship, Leonard has since grown up into an introspective, emotional, inquisitive, and kind soul. He is refreshingly forthright, preferring to be straightforward with others and disliking the superficial formalities and masks used by much of society. Few people are more sentimental or sensitive than him; in fact, he can be so empathetic that he cares too much for those who are perhaps undeserving, and a tendency to wear his heart on his sleeves has caused him to go through much pain. A horrible incident ended up putting his adopted father in prison, and he has been surviving on his own by doing odd-jobs ever since, using the skills that Grove taught him to survive. During that terrible event, Leonard lost what was most previous to him, leaving him incomplete and alone in the world.

Despite growing up in a rough neighbourhood in the lower-class streets of Brooklyn nearly his entire life, he is far more serious and complex than the laid-back and sarcastic youth he might seem on the surface; a strong sense of morality and spirituality reside in him, as well as a passionate romantic and artistic nature. There is also a purity to him that is difficult not to see, and the flow of intuitive and psychic energy is something he is highly attuned to. His fragile appearance is also extremely misleading; he is very tough inside thanks to his lifestyle and is actually quite athletic, possessing a powerful competitive streak that compliments his inner strength. Through resolve, he is able to overcome lack of natural ability or experience through the power of his determined attitude. Empathy and sentimentality run deep with her, and she is both imaginative and poetic. He comes across as if he does not really have himself worked out, is a bit comical at times, and can even seem really unorganized at first glance, but he has a lot of personal charm and is a lot smarter than he seems. With a friendly, polite, and unthreatening disposition that always tries to lighten the mood, underneath he is intelligent and resourceful, and his ability to remember information can seem nothing short of extraordinary. He tends to not like speaking about his past, and has not been home in a rather long time -- his accent is largely faded out due to moving around so much. Generally speaking, he lives a rather private life, so while he knows a great deal about many people in the world the same cannot be said about other people's knowledge of him.
