Name: Avalanche Sandrovich Alias: Turntable Age: 27 Gender: Male Height: 6'0 Weight: 172 lbs Appearance: Powers: Rotation - Avalanche has the ability to telekinetically rotate any object, organic or inorganic, within his line of sight along a vertical or horizontal axis. To do so, he must perform a small hand gesture akin to swinging a revolving door. As such, he can only rotate two objects at a time at most, one for each hand. His power has a weight limit of up to 1500 kilograms and a rotation speed limit of up to 20 kilometers an hour. For targets closer to his weight limit, Avalanche must use both hands, and the speed at which he can rotate it is halved. Weapons: Colt Python - Magnums aren't usually a practical sidearm, but a target slipped flat on its ass is an easier shot, anyway. Small Roll of Razor Wire - Perfect for making impromptu chainsaws. Equipment: Nice Suit - Well, HE thinks it's nice, anyway. Sunglasses - More for style than anything else. They're not even that good at shielding from sunlight. Pack of Cigarettes - For when you need to take the edge off, or you can't find a match. Warning! Highly addictive and hazardous to your health. Other: While he doesn't carry around an entire armory with him, he's proficient in quite a fair number of firearms, if he were able to get his hands on them. Don't ask how he knows how to use so many guns, though. His shady past occupation is a topic he likes to avoid in conversation.... Theme Song:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVEusVobh5s
Avalanche sighed heavily, quite disappointed with himself. It had been a staggering two hours since he last cursed his fate, and he was hoping to break his record at three. There, standing at the end of the alleyway he had intended to cross through, was a Youkai. An Aobōzu, to be specific. It stood there, arms folded, the bright blue skin on its stout, dwarfish body clashed with the blood-red sky of the otherworld. Its one, large, singular eye had already locked with Avalanche's, which to an Aobōzu meant only one thing: the gauntlet was already thrown. Avalanche watched, nervous and exasperated, as the youkai slapped its thighs, raised one foot in the air, and brought it down in a mighty stomp, which Avalanche could have sworn made the ground shake. Sumo was its choice of sport this evening. Avalanche looked down at his own body, lean and lacking girth, and then looked up at the walls of the alleyway, stained with massive splatters of blood. He looked back at the Aobōzu, his response clear in his sharp eyes. Hell no. "And if I refuse?..." He spoke aloud, trying to keep his cool as a bead of sweat formed on his face. The Youkai's simple response was to silently point upwards, guiding Avalanche's gaze up to the several corpses hanging from the clotheslines above. He gulped loudly, replying with a very curt "...oh." It would seem, just his luck, that he was getting slammed by the blue lug no matter what he chose. He doubt he could outrun the Aobōzu in his current position; The only way out was straight on through....Avalanche groaned to himself. This wasn't fair at all, he wasn't even on the clock. He had no beef with this blue monk, he wasn't a hunting target....but if it was a sumo match the youkai wanted, a sumo match it would get. Avalanche took a deep breath, and lifted his own leg and brought it down with a half-hearted stomp of his own, which the ground did not even politely acknowledge with a twitch. "Alright, Blue Boy.....you're on!" he exclaimed. The Aobōzu gained a brief look of excitement, before staring him down and lowering its fists to the ground. Avalanche did the same, never taking his eyes off his azure opponent. There was naught but dead silence in the alley for what felt like ages, before, with a twitch of the youkai's fingers, the battle was on. Avalanche quickly sprinted forward, and then immediately almost lost his footing from sheer surprise at the incredible burst of speed at which the Aobōzu took off. Avalanche barely had half a second to flick his wrist, but he managed it, and a flick of the wrist was all he needed. Instantaneously, the Aobōzu turned ninety degrees, and ran smack-dab into the brick wall of the alleyway, going clean through it. Avalanche did not so much as bother to look through the hole it made, and certainly didn't slow down. He sprinted at full tilt clean across the alleyway to the other side, quickly turning and running down the street. "How's THAT for sumo wrestling, ya dumbass!?" Avalanche shouted tauntingly as he ran, cackling. The laughter quickly stopped, however, when he heard loud, stomping footfalls from behind him. He slowly glanced behind him, to see the mildly bruised and very upset Aobōzu chasing after him. And gaining. "...Ahhh, SHIT!" He whispered harshly as he clenched in his gluts and tried his damnedest to pick up the pace. Once again, it would seem, it was going to be a very long night in the Crimson Sky.
