Height/Weight: 4'4"/96lbs Skills/Powers: Aura perception/manipulation: At almost all times, Willard can look at a person and instantly tell of their disposition. He finds it really difficult to describe, but the best he can do is say that their "color is pleseant", or "their shade makes me scared." By reaching out to them, through use of a kind of telekenesis, Willard can alter the target's emotional state, but only to an extent. If someone is fueled with a fierce animosity, for example, Willard can do very little to change the person's mindset. Intriguingly, Willard is also able to read the mood of some machines that have advanced A.I., but has a very difficult time manipulating them. The further someone is from Willard, the more difficult it is for him to see their aura, let alone manipulate it. Personality: Willard is your typical 10 year old boy - bursts of energy, incredibly curious, and can sometimes come off as a nuisance to those who are irritable. Due to his history, Willard has a difficult time figuring out social norms, and has a tendency to get confused when people seem upset - conveniently, though, he knows right away, thanks to his eyes. He enjoys playing catch and absolutely loves chocolate cookies. Bio: Willard was not always a fun-loving, flamboyant little kid. Unfortunately, the first 8 years of his life were spent deep, deep underground. Before the Civil War had started, several government bodies had gathered in secret to start up an incredible test - to psychologically augment the human body, from a child's conception. A massive research facility was built, dug deep beneath a rural community in the rolling hills of Ireland. For decades, these scientists worked tirelessly, using incredible technology, several years ahead of its time, only developed and capable of use by the facility staff. After many tests and failed procedures, and in the midst of a massive international war, the facility was set to shut down to provide funding for the war effort. A few scientists stayed behind, determined to finish the mission they had started, sure that they were on the brink of something incredible. Finally, after years of work, one of the children had payed off - subject no. 0473, named Willard by the woman on the staff whose egg had been donated, was born. A true test-tube baby, the scientists would watch throughout the night as the fetus grew, every one of them taking shifts to ensure that the boy had 24/7 care. Under no circumstance would they allow decades of study to fail them now, especially at the world's most crucial moment. One day, when subject 0473 was still a toddler, a scientist who had acted as the boy's father had turned from his research to address the little Willard tugging at his leg. The scientist crouched down, and Willard leaned into the man's ear. "I made mommy upset..." is what he said. Surely, the scientist thought, this was just a typical child who was worried. He went into the family room they had created for Willard, and to the scientist's terror, saw the woman scientist thrashing about and destroying the room, slamming chairs into bookcases and despite the man's pleas, she continued the chaos. It took calling armed guards into the room to drag her away, all the while kicking and screaming. Looking into exactly what happened to the mother took a great deal of time - for days she flailed about in her own cell, and nothing could be done to change her state. Eventually the hysteria stopped, and the woman, now bruised and restrained, looked about in confusion. She detailed how she had felt a sudden impulse, and before she knew it, she had blacked out. The scientists worked tirelessly to figure out the cause, and all of the evidence pointed to Willard. Though it felt incredible to know their efforts were not in vain, the panic amongst them grew rather quickly, each employee worried for their mental health. Finally, in 2063, the facility closed for good, and Willard had his first glimpse of sunlight, at the age of eight. His 'father' and 'mother' recognized the world above them had changed drastically, and hurried back to the mother's home city of Grand Haven. In 2065, after all of the turmoil had come to a close, they had been contacted by a mysterious figure - a man calling himself the name Blaque. Though they were upset at the immediate proposal, and tried to see if they could set up times to see the boy, which Blaque had refused them until he was of age, they allowed Blaque to mentor Willard, and sent the boy, now ten, off to Vendetta Inc. So Willard's story among the truly bizarre had begun.
