Only got a little experience playing the SMT series, but I know a lot of the lore. I don't play too many of the games (I'm aware that a lot of the other branch games are part of that franchise), for a few reasons, but I do think the Persona series is decent. It's definitely become its own series, since it doesn't follow a lot of the staple themes of SMT games. P3 and P4 are good games, though I honestly haven't had time to sit down and properly play many games since, well, the early PS2 era to be honest.

Anyway, I'm usually a GM at heart, which is why I'm now hosting a role-play on this site. There's exceptions, but I usually don't do fandom-based role-plays. My main story project [i]questionably[/i] has some minor similarities to the SMT/Persona franchises, but it wasn't an inspiration or anything so those things are coincidence if they exist.
