The camera came on, its bright shining light the only evidence of its recording. It shook slightly as it was turned to face the one holding it. An older gentleman smiled brightly as he turned himself towards the tree.

"Hey Mom hey Dad! Its your son John and the rest of the Kearny family wishing you all a merry Christmas! We have-" He turned the lens towards the tree, nestled gently by the fire the place.

"ugh...Decorated the tree...See? Looks nice doesn't it? I think we did a great job. Sarah is in the kitchen getting the turkey ready and Tyler and David are upstairs playing for now until the rest of the family comes..." He sighed and turned the camera towards him once more with a slightly weary expression. 

"Look I know we didn't do well last year at the reunion but I think we can get along at least for a nice, peaceful Din-"  And there it was, the heavy knock on the door, with cussing, laughing and barking...Barking? BARKING!? THEY BROUGHT THE DOG!? 

"Oh no.." He glanced back at the camera

"I'll record in a bit...Love ya"


This is a simple quick RP about a Christmas with a dysfunctional family filled with laughter, anger and crazy shenanigans. I don't expect much for a CS. Jst simply this

Real simply but I'm aiming for a nutty dinner with the potential of cops showing up. Kearny is a big family and with people all over the place. It will take place in Boston. Just felt like doing a simple RP before Christmas. Any takers?
