Tommy sighed in agreement. "Yeah, I could have told you some of the stories I'd heard asking around myself. But first we need to-" As the sun went down, a change came over Cici and she seemed to black out. Tommy reached over to shake her, but her eyes shot open shortly after, a milky white color. "Cici, are you-" Her answer both cut him off and confirmed that the answer to his question was not one he wanted to hear. But no matter what he did, he couldn't wake his friend up and he stared helplessly as the orbs and his friend disappeared into the woods. He knew he was tired, he hadn't yet gotten sleep from missing bed time the previous night, but he wasn't going to let his friend get away and allow the Fairies to toy with her. Pulling out Epsilon's pokeball, he brought out the Bulbasaur and looked at him.

"We've got to save our friend, agreed?" The Bulbasaur nodded fervently and Tommy smiled. "Then hit me with a shot of poison and lets go. I can't risk falling asleep." Epsilon hesitated, but hit his trainer with a weaker poison type move in the end. The effect would be enough to hold off the tricks of the Fairies and would take longer to become a health risk. Still, he couldn't let his trainer be out in the woods longer than one night before he knew he'd have to drag him back for treatment.

With one more look back at the safety of town, the pair set off after Cici, determined to find and free her however they had to.
