Well I see it happening two ways. If its just the two of them, it being when their training that she slips up. Eli pinning her down and making some comment about. "If you can't get me off, how will you get a creature off you?" And it leading to what with happen. 

Or if its around other people, whatever she says, I see him just kind of staring at her for a while in surprise. Then he will either follow her out or wait for the others to leave. "So about what you said." And while she's rambling on trying to make it better, he'd kiss her hand laying on the back of her neck. And when she doesn't kiss him back. He'll get this look on his face like "oh fuck" and walk off rubbing the back of his neck all actually embarrassed.
